Why Give to the Autism Science Foundation

By supporting the Autism Science Foundation (ASF) you are investing in the future of autism research. A gift to ASF means that, together, we are funding the brightest scientific researchers. Scientific research holds the key to uncovering the causes of autism and to developing better treatments for autism. Your donation to ASF will fuel major advances in autism research.

The Autism Science Foundation was founded in 2009 as a nonprofit corporation organized for charitable and educational purposes, and exempt from taxation under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code.

Our mission is to fund autism research, and to increase awareness of autism spectrum disorders and the needs of individuals and families affected by autism. In the past two years we’ve accomplished a lot, but there is still so much to do and we need your support!

ASF has funded just under half a million dollars in pre- and post-doctoral student research in the past two years. Ongoing donor support for this program through the Recipe4Hope campaign is critical. These research grants are already having a real impact on the field.

We need an avalanche of funds to find the causes of autism. The families of children, teens and adults with autism have waited long enough. We need your gift to be part of that force for hope.
